Custom Printing

Versatile, durable, cost-efficient, and high-quality are a few of the many reasons why screen printing and similar processes continue to be one of the most popular methods of printing in a variety of commercial and retail applications.

Screen Printing

Deliver bold, lasting designs with professional screen printing. Ideal for uniforms, promotional apparel, and event merchandise, this method produces vibrant colors and sharp detail that hold up through repeated wear and washing. A reliable way for businesses to showcase their message on high-quality garments.

DTF Transfers

Produce vivid, full-color designs that will not crack, peel, or fade with dye sublimation printing. Perfect for uniforms, promotional products, and specialty items, this process bonds the ink directly into the material for a smooth, long-lasting finish. An excellent choice for businesses needing detailed graphics and durable results.

Dye Sublimation

Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers are vivid, full-color images printed onto a special film that is then transferred onto fabrics or other surfaces using heat and pressure, resulting in bright, durable, and long-lasting prints.

Screen Printing FAQs

1. Why can’t I order just one screen-printed T-shirt?
Screen printing is designed for producing multiple garments at once. Most of the time on your order is spent in preparation, not printing. Artwork must be proofed, screens created, positives burned, screens taped, and presses set up. Test prints (strike-offs) are done to match proofs before the full run begins. These steps involve nearly every team member and take as much effort for one shirt as for 24. That’s why our minimum screen printing order is 24 shirts—it keeps costs efficient while ensuring professional results for your business, event, or organization.

2. How much does screen printing cost?
Pricing depends on garment type, quantity, and number of ink colors. At Now Turn North, we simplify the process by offering free screens and setup fees. You choose the shirt style, quantity per design, and ink colors, and we provide transparent, competitive pricing.

3. How do I choose a brand and style of shirt?
We work with a wide selection of wholesale garment suppliers so you can choose shirts that match your needs—whether for staff uniforms, promotional giveaways, or resale. Visit our brands and styles page for recommendations tailored to your project.

4. How do I pick ink colors?
We can print virtually any color. The most accurate way is to provide a PMS Color Number from a coated Pantone book. For processes like discharge and water-based printing, colors are estimates due to the nature of the inks. If you’re unsure, our team can help match your choice. Keep in mind that colors vary between screens and devices, so physical samples are most reliable.

5. What artwork requirements should I follow?
All artwork must be at least 300 dpi or in vector format, sized exactly as it should appear when printed. This ensures the crisp, professional quality Now Turn North is known for.

6. What are screens, and why don’t you charge for them?
While most companies charge a per-screen setup fee, we don’t. The time and complexity of your job—rather than the number of screens—are factored into your final price. This keeps ordering straightforward and budget-friendly.

7. What inks do you use?
We use plastisol inks for most jobs, applied through high-mesh screens for finer detail and a softer feel. This results in sharp, durable prints that stand out on uniforms, team apparel, and promotional clothing.

8. Can you print over seams and other uneven surfaces?
Smooth surfaces produce the best results. Printing over seams, collars, or zippers can cause imperfections because screens cannot lay completely flat. For optimal quality, we recommend garments with a smooth print area.
Note: We do not print on customer-supplied garments to avoid quality risks and ensure the best outcome.

9. Do you offer all-over printing?
We do not offer in-house all-over or cut-and-sew printing, but we can refer you to trusted partners if your project requires it.

10. What is spoilage?
Garment manufacturing is not perfect—occasional defects like small holes or misaligned seams can occur. We inspect all items and will refund any products with these issues.

11. Do you offer printed tags or finishing services?
Yes. We offer custom tag printing, machine folding, and labeling for a polished, retail-ready look.

Give us your list, we've got you covered.
